A question has been bothering me, what is the difference between wild cats and stray cats? I had always thought that there was no difference between the two, referring to the cats that lived in the streets and alleys and ran around. As I grew older and more experienced, I realized that wild cats and stray cats are completely different. Wild cats are free, unrestrained, and born ownerless, while stray cats are cats that were adopted by others and later abandoned by their owners or lost on their own due to some special reasons.
Compared with survival ability, wild cats are higher than stray cats. It is extremely difficult for stray cats to survive in the territory of wild cats. If they are lucky enough to survive, their offspring are destined to become feral cats, and the cycle repeats itself.
This is why most of the stray cats on the street are native cats (Chinese garden cats), because native cats have superior genes, they rarely get sick, and they have stronger fighting power.
It is hard to imagine that if a breed cat unfortunately falls into a group of native cats, its fate can be imagined. Even if other cats do not compete with it for territory, it will eventually be eliminated because it cannot find food.
A few months ago, a "strange cat" with an ugly face appeared among the stray cats in this community. Although its eyes were big, they were lifeless and lifeless. All the hair around the eyes had fallen out, exposing red flesh, and its face was extremely ugly. For this reason, residents in the community take a detour when they see it.
Compared with other stray cats in the community, this cat looked particularly dirty, and its originally white fur turned gray due to dust.
More importantly, when kind-hearted people come to feed a stray cat, the cat never comes out to eat. It just lies quietly under the car, looking listless, like a Buddhist cat who has seen through the world.
The lady who fed the cat felt sorry for it, pulled it out from under the car, and put a large bag of cat food in front of it. Unexpectedly, the cat still refused to eat a bite and lay quietly on its stomach, as if the delicious food in front of it was like air to it.

After taking a bath, the cat finally revealed its true colors. It was actually a Garfield cat! Under the careful care of the young lady, the Garfield cat ate a little cat food. Perhaps the warmth of the family reassured it, and the Garfield cat fell into a deep sleep.
The next day, the young lady took Garfield to the hospital for examination. Sure enough, he suffered from severe skin disease. Maybe this was the reason why his previous owner abandoned him!
But the young lady would not abandon it. After a period of treatment, the hair on this Garfield cat gradually grew out, its eyes changed from dull and dull before, and its appearance also increased linearly with its weight.
Not all stray cats will meet kind-hearted people like little sisters, especially cats that have been abandoned by their owners. They do not have the superb survival skills of wild cats, and there is only one final outcome - death.
