The cat was trapped at a height of 33 floors, and the rescue process was thrilling!

It's like this. Last week, we received a "special" TikTok request for help  .

Originally, under our conditions, we could not provide assistance. First, we have no experience in rescue, and second, we have no professional rescue equipment.

But the message from the lady who asked for help all told her anxiety and powerlessness.

Although cats can persist for more than two weeks without eating or drinking, their physical condition will still worsen over time. If no one rescued the poor kitten would have to starve to death.

Then, the rescuer sent another environmental video of the scene. The terrace where the cat was trapped was completely suspended, and the vertical distance between the balcony where we could probe out was two meters.

The person seeking help must use a white bench to barely see the cat's location. Under such conditions, the success rate of unprofessional rescue is almost 0.

Although the success rate is very low, my sister's two words made me break the defense in an instant.

Cat is in trouble, who can give up without making any efforts? According to my experience of living with the cat and I, and the only experience of saving cats on the rooftop, we need at least:

1. A cat catcher (or air box + door-closing rope set) that can effectively prevent cats from rushing out

2. Cat cans/cat strips and other foods

3. Five-step ladder

When things were not prepared, I made this judgment: After I made up my mind, I asked my colleagues to help and prepared a small bag of grain and a small bag of mineral water. In this way, even if the cat cannot be saved tonight, it can still be eaten first. After that, we embarked on the road to rescue cats.

At that time, we didn't know that this was a rescue journey full of shock and surprises.

We arrived at the scene around 7 o'clock, and it was completely dark at this time.

The cat is trapped on the rooftop on the 33rd floor. There was not a single lamp, and I could hardly see my five fingers. The black and worn pipes, the vegetables grown by the owners themselves, the quilt covers or clothes that were dried... To be honest, it was really scary.

While we were on the flashlight of the mobile phone to prevent being tripped, we were able to distinguish the direction of the cat's meow.

But there was no sound of a cat's meowing... there was no sound, and there was a dead silence. After searching for about five minutes, we found the terrace where the person who asked for help took pictures. We set up a bench, but there was no trace of the cat.

Is it falling from the building? Or was it hungry?

In short, we plan to contact the helper to explain the situation first. At this moment - a black shadow quickly passed through our eyes, too fast, and was only captured by the flashlight of my cell phone for a moment.

The colleague I was with was suddenly frightened and almost screamed. We were still in a panic.

"It's that cow cat, it came up by itself!"

The fright turned into a surprise, and in an instant...

After the cat came up, we left food and water and left...

Although we were in vain, the cat was fine, and we were still quite happy.

But if you think about it carefully, it is actually very dangerous to be trapped like this. If the cat is desperate and chooses to jump off the building, it is very likely to hit the person passing by downstairs, and it will definitely die.

Many owners will raise cats and dogs on the top floor to catch mice and protect their vegetables or dried grains. But the top floor that everyone can go to is not safe for pets.

In fact, we do not advocate free-range cats and dogs anywhere... So, I hope everyone will not raise free-range cats and dogs on the top floor. This is responsible for the pet and for the neighbors.

Spring is here, and it is the season for animals to mating. They will jump up and down due to love, urinate randomly, and even add more kittens and puppies to you.

I hope everyone can protect their pets and reduce such tragedies, after all, it is also a life.
