The FA released an official announcement today, filing 74 financial charges against Chelsea. The 2009-2022 period of the accusation coincides with the time when Abu took charge of Chelsea.

Previously, Abu asked the EU Supreme Court to lift restrictions including asset freezes and European travel bans, on the grounds that these measures were unfair, the EU accused him of having connections with the Kremlin and he also asked the EU to compensate for reputational losses.

But yesterday, the common court of the EU Court rejected Abu's lawsuit, saying the sanctions were "necessary and appropriate".

Shortly after the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Abram sold Chelsea to Burleigh and its investment group. The British government said it hopes to confiscate the £2.5 billion proceeds from the sale of the Premier League club and pass it on to Ukraine. However, due to legal obstacles, the British government has not yet clarified the results of the handling of this fund.
