At the pre-match press conference in today's Premier League, Crystal Palace coach Glasner said that the team's central defender Guy "must" stay in the team this summer because the team cannot find his replacement with only 3 days left in the transfer window. Guy is currently rumored to have many scandals with Liverpool.
When asked if Guy would stay, Glasner replied: "From my point of view, he must stay because it is impossible for us to find someone who can start directly in the Premier League and stay stable as a replacement for Guy.
"Looking back at the foundation of our success over the past few months, that's our defense, and Guy is a crucial part of that. It is almost impossible to find a suitable replacement now. He showed his concentration in every game.
"If Gee said, 'I want to leave Crystal Palace,' then the transfer should have happened a few weeks ago. He is totally focused on the team, and we can see him showing that at the moment, which is what I think needs to leave his point."
