Eze came to Arsenal Youth Training Academy when he was 8 years old and was terminated at the age of 13. He recalled in an interview in 2020, "I remember crying in the room for a whole week."

Now 27-year-old Eze is about to return to Arsenal. Under Glasner's training, Eze evolved from a left winger to the No. 8 midfielder, and received 14 goals and 11 assists in various competitions last season.
