This summer Maduekai left Chelsea to join Arsenal for a transfer fee of 56 million euros. After joining, he quickly integrated into the team. In an interview, Madueke talked about his feelings in the new team.
He said: "This is a great team and we are performing well. The players here are not only talented, but they are also very good people, and I think the culture here is probably the best I have ever seen.
"As for the fans, before I joined, there were indeed some mixed voices on social media. But when I entered the stadium, I didn't feel the criticism from the fans. Also, I was so close to the stands that I could hear them, they were cheering me on the whole game and I could hear the fans cheering every time I got the ball. I hope this continues as it gives me a huge boost.
"I love playing at the Emirates Stadium and I look forward to every game here. The fans are really great and I'm grateful for their support."
