The Telegraph reported that Tottenham has reached a deal worth 55 million pounds to sign Kudus from West Ham. At the same time, head coach Thomas Frank also expressed his interest in poaching forward Visa from his old club Brentford.

According to the Telegraph exclusive disclosure last week, Kudus was listed as the number one signing target by Tottenham. The club was optimistic that the transaction would be completed at a price far below the 85 million pounds termination fee. The clause is only valid for the first ten days of July.

Spurs proved to be correct in their judgment, and they finalized Kudus' transfer for about £55 million, and the Ghana international will sign a six-year contract. This transfer is a major breakthrough for Tottenham Hotspur, and it also ended the club's tacit transfer ban since 2011.

Other news shows that Frank has shown interest in signing Visa, and the Congolese striker is believed to be eager to reunite with his mentor at Tottenham. Brentford is facing the risk of Mbemo being poached by Manchester United this summer, and letting Visa go will make the team worse.

Visa, which is about to celebrate her 29th birthday in September, may limit Tottenham's quotation space. It is reported that Newcastle United is also interested in this versatile player. Last season, he scored 19 Premier League goals for Brentford, and he can both serve as a center and a left winger.

It is not yet certain whether Tottenham will continue to chase Visa after finalizing Kudus, but the club has indeed started related contacts. West Ham hopes to raise funds by selling 24-year-old Kudus to support coach Porter in rebuilding the lineup, and the player himself has also given priority to Tottenham over other potential next players.

This transfer will make Kudus the first player to join Tottenham directly from West Ham since Scott Parker in 2011. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levi prevented Adebayo from switching to the Hammers in 2015, and the two clubs have never made direct transactions since.

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax for nearly £40 million two years ago, and won 14 goals in all competitions in his first season. But last season, his goal count plummeted to five goals as the team struggled in the Premier League.
