Whenever I rinse down jackets with soap or washing powder and water, I often wash them with soap and washing powder, and after drying, many white soap stains often appear on the fabric, which is very frustrating. How to clean down jackets to avoid white soap stains?

How to wash down jackets to avoid white soap stains?

It turns out that the concentration of the detergent liquid for washing down jackets is limited. Generally speaking, it is advisable to put 4 to 5 tablespoons of washing powder in two washbasins of water. If it is too thick, it is not advisable to remove all the detergent liquid when washing. After drying, the white soap stains mentioned above often appear on the fabric. Moreover, if the down contains a certain amount of washing powder, it will affect the fluffyness of the down and greatly reduce its warmth.

In order to avoid soap stains on the down jacket fabric, in addition to properly grasping the concentration of the washing liquid, after rinsing it twice, you can put two small tablespoons of vinegar in clean water. The vinegar can neutralize the remaining washing liquid in the down jacket. However, it must be noted that the water used to add esters must be warm water so that the detergent liquid in the down jacket will be fully dissolved in the water.

What should I do if there are white soap stains after cleaning the down jacket?

If there are white soap stains on the washed down jacket, you can wipe clean cotton dipped in industrial alcohol repeatedly, and finally wipe it with a hot towel, and the soap stains can be removed.
