According to "Team", Boubacar Kamara, who was sentenced to four years in prison (with two years of probation) in December 2024 for the "Pogba case", will be released from prison on October 21.

His lawyer Said Khalil previously applied for a sentence adjustment and won the case at the Paris Court of Appeal on Friday morning. The court ultimately ruled that Kamala should be placed on home confinement under electronic monitoring.

The specific terms of his home detention include: daily allowed outing hours from 9am to 8pm, as well as specific obligations related to his reintegration plan, such as resumption of training as a sports coach, and a ban on contact with Pogba and certain co-defendants.

Boubacar Kamara was held in pretrial detention for three and a half months in 2022. He was officially imprisoned on March 13, 2025, and his original sentence will last until November 27, 2026.
