Nottingham Forest has reached an agreement with Ipswich on Hutchinson's transfer. The attacking midfielder will join Nottingham Forest for a transfer fee of about £37.5 million, and the players are currently deciding whether to complete the deal.
If the deal is reached, Hutchinson's former boss Chelsea will receive about £4 million from it, as they retained a 25% premium share of the resale share clause when they sold it to Ipswich last year.
Chelsea sold Hutchinson to Ipswichin for £20 million + £2.5 million last summer. If Ipswich sold Hutchinson, 25% of the amount exceeding the introduction price would be distributed to Chelsea.
