According to the famous equipment website footyheadlines, Donnarumma played in the Premier League wearing a fan version of the goalkeeper jersey.
Donnarumma continued to wear a fan-style goalkeeper jersey during Manchester City's away game against Arsenal last weekend.
Previously, Donnarumma's debut in the Premier League, Manchester City beat Manchester United 3-0. Donnarumma did not wear the player's version of the jersey, but chose the fan's version. This fan version uses embroidered Puma and Manchester City logos instead of the player version with lighter hot pressing elements and is looser.
This is not the first time that a top goalkeeper has made such a choice. Two years ago, Manchester United goalkeeper Onana was also reported to prefer the fan version because the tight design of the player version made him feel uncomfortable during the game.
