Tottenham official: One preseason game will be added on Saturday, with opponents playing behind closed doors for Waikonbi Rangers &

On Thursday local time, Tottenham officially announced that it will add a pre-season warm-up match against Waikonby Rangers this Saturday. Coach Frank hopes to give as many players as possible a chance to play in the pre-season warm-up match.

Tottenham will play two warm-up matches this Saturday. In addition to the previously confirmed away game against Luton, the club announced today that it will add a new closed-door match: playing against the League One team Waicombe Rangers at the training base on Tottenham Road.

The game schedule for Saturday is: the team plays Weconby Wanderers at 11 a.m. and then sets off to play Luton away, which will kick off at 3 p.m.

coach Thomas Frank said: "We want to add one game to the schedule to get as many players as possible to get game time so that they can reach their best physical condition."

"At that time we will send two evenly strong teams, who will play 60 to 75 minutes, and even more. By the end of Saturday's game, 22 players will get a lot of game time and they will be in very good shape before they set out on the overseas tour."

In addition to the two warm-up matches this Saturday, Tottenham will also play against Arsenal on July 31 and Newcastle on August 3. Afterwards, Tottenham will also play against Bayern in the Deutsche Telekom Cup on August 7.
