Sun Xueling, the Ministry of National Development and Senior Minister of Transportation, released the results of the survey at a real estate brokerage seminar held by the School of Lifelong Learning on Wednesday (June 18).

At the same time, the Singapore Real Estate Agency Association and the Singapore Real Estate Agency Association also announced that it will merge to form a new agency representing real estate agencies - the Singapore Institute of Estate Agents.

On the other hand, the Singapore Real Estate Agency Association announced at a seminar that it will launch a technology platform for the association members to collaborate on real estate brokerage display, management and property listing. Through this platform, real estate brokers can ensure that there are no duplicate real estate sales. The association has 15,000 members.

A survey showed that up to 92% of local consumers were satisfied with the services provided by real estate brokers, with the highest level since the survey was launched in 2012.

This "2024 Public Cognition Survey" was carried out by the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA). According to the survey results, 89% of the consumers surveyed felt positive and very positive about the performance of real estate brokers' knowledge. Most respondents also believe that the services provided by local real estate brokers are of good quality, capable, trustworthy and ethical.
