In all human activities, walking can be said to be the most basic necessary condition for maintaining the existing physical condition. For many years, those who have never had the habit of exercise in their entire lives, but as long as they can walk, they still have the chance to put the two words "health" on the other hand, and still maintain physical function in their 80s. On the contrary, if people who have no ability to walk, they will almost never avoid the difficulties of muscle loss (sarcopenia) and cardiopulmonary decline, so that their health will decline and even endanger their lives. The importance of walking is one of the keys to the survival of older people.
Walking often accounts for a considerable proportion in the life of ordinary people, but if walking is only regarded as a necessary period in the process of "to accomplish something", most of the advantages of walking are only the absolute benefits of "maintaining existing physical energy". On the contrary, if you can make good use of walking and expand it to the training of muscle strength and endurance that covers the whole body, you can create more beneficial benefits, and walking is not just as simple as walking. Under this concept, Nordic walking was born.
{9 There are two obvious and easy-to-see benefits for this kind of walking method: 1. From half-body movement to whole-body movement, the exercise effect is betterMany people's movement methods are: hands, legs are legs, muscle strength is muscle strength, and endurance is endurance. The exercise mode often focuses on training a single part or a single function. This way, the benefits obtained are limited to the single benefit brought by several specific movements. On the contrary, unlike the use of lower body muscles in general when walking, Nordic walking adds a lot of use of the upper body to provide muscle strength to help walking, allowing walking to move from half body to whole body movement. When most of the large muscle groups in the body can start when walking, and since walking is generally dominated by long-term exercise, better exercise effects can be achieved regardless of muscle strength, endurance, or heat burning, and even improve the three highs of epilepsy syndrome.
2. From two feet to four feet, reducing the burden on the relationshipMany people will have knee degeneration problems when they reach a certain age. The deterioration of the knee will allow the ability to walk long distances to withstand regression, which will turn into a certain amount of walking, which may cause the knee to be inappropriate. In this way, the good thing has not arrived and the pain comes first. Over the long term, the walking volume is no longer as good as before, which will have a clear adverse impact on health. People are animals that walk with two feet. The Nordic walking stick can make walking from two feet to the same four feet, which can greatly reduce the average stress on the lower limbs, significantly reduce the burden on the relevant period, and extend the walking time.
As the saying goes, "Event activities, you must move if you want to live." When activities are restricted by the condition, the priority consideration is not to reduce activities, but to use tools locally so that patients can maintain their previous activities as much as possible while being painless. For patients with problems with the knees or even other parts of the lower limbs (such as hair and ankles), the Nordic walking stick can reduce or even eliminate pain when walking by moving parts. It is a good tool to help maintain walking function.
North European walking stick is compared with hiking polesNorth European walking stick has a similar appearance to a hiking pole, but in some details and usage concepts, the two are different:
The materials are different: hiking poles are used to help climb mountaineering, and are stable and durable; sporting poles are used to help walking, and are light and sturdy.
Additional accessories: The hiking pole generally has only one fine wristband, which allows the user to hang the cane on his wrist when climbing, and the walking pole is equipped with a glove with a thumb ring, so that the user can relax his palms when walking and pushing, and use more arms to exert force and strengthen the muscle group.
Can it be adjusted: The hiking poles need to be able to adjust the length due to different terrain, so they have a stretching function; walking poles are generally used on flat ground, and even if the road surface is uneven, there will be a large drop of heights like a mountain road, so they are formed in one piece, which can eliminate the vibrations that may occur when the cane is stretched, thereby reducing the burden on the upper limbs.
Number of use: Hiking poles, regardless of a single stick or a pair, are helpful for mountaineering activities. Even if it is generally recommended to use one pair (because it can provide better support), there is no common rule that "it must be so"; walking poles must be used in pairs, because most creatures with walking ability must be an even number, regardless of how many feet there are, so "the number of walking poles + the number of limbs used for walking" must also be an even number. If you only use a single walking stick, it will cause a large center of gravity to flutter and uneven force on both sides of the limbs. Walking like this for a long time will be more likely to cause sports damage than walking without a single walking stick.
As for whether the two canes can communicate with each other, there is generally no rigid regulation, which depends on the user's preferences, habits, and whether they are properly adjusted to suit the purpose.
Modern people are busy with life and are efficient in doing things. Want to exercise while training the muscle endurance of the whole body and make good use of Nordic walking is a good choice for high CP values.
